Gail Poverman-Kave (BCD, MSW, LCSW) runs a private counseling practice in Brick Township. She sees individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents, and also works as a divorce mediator. The website had to do two jobs at once: read as calm and trustworthy to somebody reaching out on a hard day, and turn up when people in the surrounding towns search for a therapist.

The Solution

The site is built in Astro with Tailwind CSS and ships as a static export on Cloudflare Workers, so every page comes off the edge and there is no server to keep alive. The design stays quiet on purpose. Sage and cream, plenty of white space, a soft dune photograph, and the phone number within reach on every screen, because this practice gets found and then called rather than found and then form-filled.

Under the four service pages sits a layer of location pages, one for each service in each town Gail practices near: anxiety and depression, child and adolescent therapy, family and couples counseling, and divorce mediation, across Lakewood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant, Toms River and Wall. Every one of them carries its own copy instead of a find-and-replace on the town name. The site publishes MedicalBusiness structured data, and the contact form posts to our own handler with spam filtering in front, so inquiries reach her inbox without a third-party form service sitting in the middle.

Results

  • 33 indexable pages at launch, 20 of them service-and-town landing pages aimed at local search
  • Lighthouse performance score of 99 on desktop, with a 0.9 second largest contentful paint
  • MedicalBusiness schema so search engines can read the credentials, location and services as data
  • Contact form delivering straight to her inbox, spam filtered, no third-party form service
  • Analytics wired up so we can see which town pages actually produce calls
